Bassette, 68, a resident of Riverview Towers, Ogdensburg, who died Tuesday evening at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital, Ogdensburg, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mann Funeral Home, Madrid, Rev. Calvin F. Zimmer, officiating. Burial will be in Madrid Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 tonight and all day Thursday. Mrs. Bassette was born in Madrid May 30, 1902, daughter of James and Bertha Kerr Crump, and was married to Cyrus Bassette in 1936. Mr. Bassette died years ago. She is survived by three cousins, Mrs. Margaret Haglund, Morristown, Mrs. Hazel Joyce, Canton, and Mrs. Paul Weir, Carthage. Mrs. Bassette was a member of the Madrid Congregational Church and was graduated from Madrid Central School and the Hawthorne School of Music, Potsdam.
