John Wright Bissinger
John Wright Bissinger, 71, of Nashville, TN, passed away on March 10, 2023, surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. John was born on August 31, 1951, in San Diego, CA. John was known for his generous, kind, and loving spirit, and to meet him was to love him. He met wife Connie, and they moved to Powell, TN in the early 1980s, where they raised their family until they moved to Nashville in 1998. John owned his own pest control company, Absolute Pest Control, that he operated for many years.
John is survived by the love of his life, Connie (n?e Bassett) of 44 years and their children, Kelly LeMarr (Brandon), Kurt Bissinger (Brooke), son Kevin Hopper, and sisters Roberta Castleberry and Betsy Laskey (Ken). He will be forever cherished and remembered by his eight grandchildren, Bryson and Benjamin LeMarr, John, Annabelle, and Olivia Bissinger, Matthew and Connor Hopper, and Brandon Hopper, as well as many nieces and nephews who adored him.
John was predeceased by parents Harold Wright Bissinger and Elizabeth Joy Bissinger Smith, son Chris Hopper, and brother-in-law Bob Castleberry.
A memorial visitation will be held at their home on Saturday, March 18, from 1-3 p.m. (CST), with a service following at 3 p.m.: 7721 Old Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37221. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects and celebrate and share fond memories of John's life.
