Thomas Bass was found dead Saturday at his home off La. 960 in the Bluff Creek area, Travis said. A neighbor reported a shooting about 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Deputies who responded confirmed there had been a fatal shooting but could not immediately determine if it was a homicide. Travis said up to $2,500 is available as a reward for any information that leads to an arrest in the homicide. "There's no tip too small," Travis said Monday. "Our people want to know they're safe and we're working very hard to ensure their safety."
