Teddy Anthony Bass, 68, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Teddy was born in Danville, VA on August 6, 1956 to the late Helen Gibson Bass and the late Jessie Willard Bass.
Teddy was of the Christian faith, and a member of Laurel Grove Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a Tobacco Farmer.
Teddy is survived by a daughter; Jamie Watkins and husband Alex of Ringgold, VA; a son; Travis Rowland and wife Kelly of Ringgold, VA; four brothers; Barry Bass (Linda), Terry Bass (Brenda), Larry Bass, and Chris Bass (Ellen); five grandchildren; Gavin, Cobin, Caleb, Mason and Xander.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2:00pm at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, Va with Pastor Carl Burger and Pastor Eddie Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on the same day, prior to the service from 1-2:00pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
