Bass Bass, Harvey T., III - Balch Springs, TX, after suffering and being in pain for more than 12 years, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2001. Harvey was born on July 15, 1948 to Harvey Truett Bass, Jr. and Carmen Jo Bussey Bass. Survivors are wife Cathy E. Bass, son Harvey T. Bass IV, sister Terry Jo Bass, niece Cyndi Lea Lay, her husband Mike, and their children. He was a graduate of South Oak Cliff High School and a retiree of Sears. The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. R.K. Stahlman, II MD for his care of Harvey for many years. Visitation will be held at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home, Friday, from 9 am to 9 pm with family receiving friends from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, October 27, 2001 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1002 S. Peachtree Road in Mesquite with Rev. James Schoenrock officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite.
