Joni Clifton Bass, 66, of Ringgold, VA, went to be with her Lord Thursday, September 22, 2022, while at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a decline in health for the past few weeks.
Joni was born in Danville, VA., on September 25, 1955, a daughter of the late John Eldriff Clifton and Ella Mae Swaim. She lived her entire life in the Danville Community. She worked at Presto Products Company in South Boston, VA before retiring. Joni enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Joni is survived by four daughters; Bethany Tucker (Victor) of Danville VA., Sara Bass of Lynchburg, VA., Courtney Bass of Waynesboro, VA., Kimberly Bass (Travis Murray) of Virgilina , VA. and seven grandchildren, Jordan, Kamryn , Chase, Karleigh, Hynlee, Eli and Ella. She was predeceased by one grandson, Lucas.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel and at other times at the residence of her daughter Kimberly Bass at 1246 Shady Grove Church Road, Virgilina VA.. 24598
