- The Last Will & Testament of Warren Bass
In the name of God Amen Warren Bass of the County of Franklin State of North Carolina being of sound and memory do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in manner & form following
Impremes -- first I lend unto my Loving wife Timpy Boss during her natural life, one negro woman by the name of Jude, and after her death it is my will and desire that the said negro woman Jude and her increase should be equallydivided between my two Children Nancy Bass and Sydal Bass. Item I give and Devise unto my daughter Nancy Bass and her heirs forever two Negroes, Haste and Allen
Item I give and devise unto my daughter Lydia Bass and her heirs forever Two negroes ( c ) Lucy and Abbe - Now my will and desire is that after my just debts are paid , that all the residue of my estate of what Known should be equally divided between my wife & two children - And I do hereby appoint Richard Hill and Jacob Bass Executors to this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Signed & Sealed in the presence James Hunt Davis Jural
