Lois P. (Bass) Bailey
Lynnville, Ind. Lois P. (Bass) Bailey, 81, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the Woodlands Convalescent Center in Newburgh, Ind.
Lois was a member of the North Friendship General Baptist Church in Lynnville, Ind. She was the cafeteria manager at the Lynnville Elementary School for several years. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, cooking and camping.
Lois is survived by two sons, Perry Bailey of Oakland, Tenn., and Alan Bailey of Rocky Mount, N.C.; two grandchildren, Troy Bailey and Kristie White; three stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Luther in 2008. Services for Lois will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011, from the Pemberton-Bradley Funeral Home in Lynnville, with burial in the Lynnville Cemetery. Rev.
Johnny Hibbs will officiate. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Lois may be made to the North Friendship Church, Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
