Miss Bassett was born March 12, 1965 in Forsyth County to Harold Wesley and Doris Southern Bassett. She is survived by her parents, of the home, a brother, Ronnie Wesley Bassett, of the home; a sister, Miss Rena Kay Bassett, of the home; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Doris R. Southern, 2627 Reid St. and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bassett, 611 Linville Rd., Kernersville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel by the Rev. Danny Hauser. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
