Nancy Jane Bassett
Nancy Jane Bassett, 91, passed away August 3, 2015. She was born July 30, 1924. Nancy was kind and giving and made friends easily. She was married to Willard (Bill) Bassett for 55 years. While Bill was in the Air Force she enjoyed being stationed in many countries and states with him and her family. She was always busy. She loved working in her yard and flower gardens, and with her horses and dogs. She was active in her church and always ready to help in any way she could. She will be dearly missed.
Survived by her children, Charlotte (Gary) Bueher, Ronald (Kathy) Bassett, Robert Bassett, Marjorie (Robert) Renner, Eloise Bassett, Stephen (Sue) Bassett; step-son, Charles (Diane) Bassett; 9 grandchildren: 12 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Willard (Bill) Bassett and grandson, Shadron Bassett.
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N. 27th St., Lincoln. Graveside service to follow.
