Charles Lamar Bass
BASS, Charles Lamar, 79, of Plant City, Florida, died on Friday, May 11, 2012. Born Sunday, July 31, 1932 in Plant City, Florida, he was the son of the late Elder Cecil Bass and Delise Harvill Bass. He was the beloved husband of Gwendolyn Granger Bass. Surviving are daughters, Sharon (Jeffrey) Bowen, Pamela (Dale) Perry and Diane (David) Brewington, son, Clayton Wells, brothers, Cecil Eugene Bass and Elder Curtis Julian Bass, sisters, Linda Merle Lewis, Gloria Jean Martin and Margie Marie Bass. 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Charles had been a general contractor in the area for years, he was also the owner and operator of Park Street Skate Center and Charlie's Sporting Goods. He was a member of Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church. The family will recieve friends 9:00am to 10:00am on Tuesday at The Mount Enon Primitive Baptist Church, where funeral Services will follow at 10:00am.
