      C.L. Bass Died at 52 in Midwest

      Funeral services for Carsie Leroy Bass, 52, Omaha, Nebr., resident who died Wednesday after a brief illness in a Missouri Valley, Iowa, hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from Hartman Chapel.
      Mr. Bass, a former resident of McComb, had lived in Omaha for the past 20 years. He was an employe of the Union Pacific Railroad, and a native of Lawrence County.
      Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
      Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Etta Bass; a son, Carsie L. Bass Jr., a daughter, Jo Ann Bass; three brothers, GA. Bass and H.E. Bass, both of McComb, and O.F. Bass, Creole, Miss.; and two sisters, Mrs. F.P. Blalock and Mrs. C.A. Kirkland, both of McComb.
