Marcel A. Bessette
RICHFORD/DELTONA, FL ? Marcel A. Bessette, 69, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning in the Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, Fl.
Mr. Bessette was born Feb. 3, 1925, in Montreal, Quebec, the son of Arthur and Rose Alma (COrbeil) Bessette.
Mr. Bessette was a resident of Richford since 1952 and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. Marcel owned and operated a dairy farm from 1952 to 1987, and also owned the Big B Construction Co. from the mid ?60s to the present.
He was a selectman for the town of Richford from 1976 to 1979. Marcel was a devout and loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather to his famly. His many friends and business associates will miss him dearly and will always rmember him by his kind and caring ways.
He is survived by his wife, Esther (McKelvey) Bessette of Richford; a daughter, Dianne Bessette and her fiancé, Joseph martel, both of Richford; a grandson, Larry Bessette and his fiancée, Michelle Williams, both of Richford; a great-granddaughter, Joslynn Lorraine Bessette of Richford; two sisters, Mr. Bernard (Pauline) Petras and Mrs. Guy (Hortense) Desnoyers, both of Montreal, Quebec; a very dear friend, Roger Gendron of Richford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine (Bessette) Craig, on Aug. 11, 1978; a sister, Simone Bellefleur; and a borhter, Andre Bessette.
