Esther M. Bessette
Richford/Deltona, Fla. ? Mrs. Esther M. Bessette, age 75, widow of Marcel Bessette, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, at Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, Fla. following a brief illness.
Esther was born in Cowansville, P.Q., Sep5. 13, 1926, the daughter of Douglas and Sara (Hamilton) McKelvey.
Mr. and Mrs. Bessette were married in 1948 and moved to Richford from Canada where they purchased a dairy farm in 1952. For the past seven years, Esther had made her home in Florida. While living in Richford, she was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Bessette of Richford; a grandson, Larry Bessette of Richford; two great-grandchildren Josylnn and Logan Bessette, and her companion Clarence Miller of Deltona, Fla.
Besides her husband, Marcel Bessette, she was predeceased by a daughter Lorraine Craig.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 at All Saints Catholic Church in Richford with interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Richford.
Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home on 140 Main St., Richford, Monday evening from 7 to 9.
