J.T. Bass
LaCrosse - JT Bass 84, of LaCrosse passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at Riverwood Health and Rehab in Starke. He was born on March 2, 1931 in Gilchrist, County to the late Johniford Bass and Estelle Hucks Bass. He worked and retired from the University of Florida as a painter. He is a member of the Dedan Baptist Church in Brooker.
He is survived by his daughters: Annette Castner of Brooker, JoAnn Raulerson (Gene) of Lake Butler, Judy Smith of Lake Butler, and Brenda Suggs (Jerry) of Lake Butler; sons: Danny Bass of Lacrosse, Terry Bass (Wanda) of Worthington Springs, and Jerome Bass (Alexis) of LaCrosse; sisters: Lula Mae Michaels of LaCrosse; 21 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bass will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 3:00pm in the Archer Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Dehoff officiating. Burial will take place following funeral services at Dedan Cemetery in Brooker. Family invites friends for a visitation an hour prior to the funeral service.
The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler.
