Miss Lena Laroe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laroe, of Federal st., and Lewis Bessette, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bessette of Fairfax, were married yesterday morning at St. Mary’s church, the Rev. J.J. Boyle performing the ceremony. Miss Alice Bessette of Georgia, was the bridesmaid and Orice Bessette, of Fairfax, was best man. After the ceremony, dinner was served at the home of the bride to immediate friends and relatives. In the evening a reception was tendered the bride and groom at the home of the groom’s parents in Fairfax. Only members of the immediate families were present. After dinner a musical program on dancing was enjoyed until late in the morning. Mr. and Mrs. Bessette were the recipients of many gifts including cut glass, linen and a sum of money. After their wedding trip they will be at the home of the groom’s parents in Fairfax.
