  Notes	Floyd Leon Bass WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Floyd Leon Bass Sr. of Winter Haven died of heart failure Saturday (May 10, 2003) at Good Shepherd Hospice Residential Center, Auburndale. He was 74. Born Sept. 18, 1928, in Marshall, Ill., he came to Winter Haven from California 29 years ago. He was a retired aircraft mechanic in the Air Force, having served for 20 years. He was a member of the Auburndale Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4945, Winter Haven Moose Lodge and a past member of the American Legion. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife of 52 years, Juanita M. Bass; sons, Floyd Leon Bass Jr. and Jeffery Carl Bass, both of Winter Haven, and Craig Randall Bass, Zephyrhills; daughters, Cathy Jane Tapia and Donna Marie Amato, both of Arizona, and Nancy Jo Reoch, California; brothers, Jesse Warren Bass and Chester Earl Bass, both of Kentucky; sister, Martha Harlon, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 this afternoon at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale. Services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
