Juanita Pearl Edney Bass (Picture included)
Juanita Pearl Edney Bass transitioned peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 98. Born on April 19, 1922 in Aiken, South Carolina to the late Oscar Sally Edney and Maude Grey Edney. Mrs. Bass was predeceased by her husband Herbert L. Bass and son Marvin C. Bass. She retired from Bunker Ramo Corporation after numerous years of service. She was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and served as a Trustee and Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was adored by all who knew her. To forever cherish her memory is her son, Rodney Bass (Sharon), her daughter, Karen Graves Medley; five grandchildren, Rev. Jessica N. Bass, Wesley Bass (Brooke), Moriah T. Bass, Keishaana Kelly (Michael) and Dawn Farrell and a host of nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. followed by a service of celebration at 12:00 p.m. at Graves Medley Funeral Services, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT. with Rev. Dr. Robert A. Jackson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford.
