Louis Bass, 80, of 2718 Celbrune, died at his residence Saturday at 2 a.m. He was born in Baltimore, Md., in 1853 and had been a resident of Houston for the past three years. He is survived by three sons, Emanuel P. Bass of Baltimre, Md., William L. and Sylvan S. Bass of Houston; two daughters, Miss Leona Bass of Houston and Miss Pauline Bass of Baltimore; one brother, Henry Bass of Chicago, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Westheimer-Vollus Funeral Home Sunday at 3 p.m. with Rabbie Nathan H. Colish officiating.
