  Notes	Cornishman, September 3, 1914 The Late Mr. James Bassett Funeral At Helston Amid manifestations of sympathy the funeral took place at Helston Cemetery on Sunday of Mr. James Bassett, of Meneage-road, Helston. Deceased, who was fifty-years of age, was formerly in business as a butcher, and the bearers of the coffin were all butchers in the district. The Rev. R.J. Edwards conducted the service. The mourners were William, James, and Sidney Bassett (sons), Nellie and May Bassett (daughters), William Bassett (brother), Mrs. N. Edgcumbe, Mrs. C.
