  Notes	The Tampa Tribune, Florida, Saturday, July 31, 2010 O.E. Bass BASS, O.E., 86, of Dade City, Fla., passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. He was born February 18, 1924, and served with 101st Airborne, World War II. O.E. was a retired captain for the City of Tampa Fire Department. Survivors include his wonderful wife of 61 years, Helen; four children, Linda Wier (Jack), Buddy Bass (Jane), Elaine Reeder (Moe) and Sandra Simmons (Pete); six grand-children; and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, August 2, with the Rev. James Douglas and the Rev. Lamar McCray officiating, at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Brandon.
