Martha Irene Bassett (Picture included)
Martha Irene Bassett, 61, of Coshocton passed away at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg, Ohio following a lengthy illness.
Born February 27, 1954 in Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Marie (Elson) Wilcox.
Martha was a 1973 graduate of Ridgewood High School and in April of 1988 she married Timothy William Bassett. She had attended Victory Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters Debbie (John) Kuntz of Savannah, GA, Jamie (Kelly) Mullett of Newcomerstown, April (James) Sharp of Coshocton; seven grandchildren Brittany, Camron, Kyle, Sebastian, Reece, Ricky, Shaidon; a brother John Wilcox, Sr. of Coshocton two sisters Janice Wilcox of Coshocton, Diane Wilcox of West Lafayette; half sister Esther Arron of Coshocton; a nephew John J. Wilcox, Jr. of Coshocton.
Martha's pet dog Dusty was also considered a member of the family.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 8, 2016 at South Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Ralph Johnson officiating.
