Anna L. Bass
Anna L. Bass, 84, a longtime resi dent of New Mexico, died Sunday, March 16, 1997.
She is survived by her children: A. Leise Sargent of Santa Fe, NM, Thomas J.H. Bass and wife, Margie of Albuquer que, Joan A. Bass of Agua Dulce, CA and Samuel P. Bass and wife, Cheryl of Fluvana, TX; tem grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sisters: May Holt and Helen Warriner.
Mrs. Bass was preceeded in death by her husband, J. Hobson Bass.
She was born and raised in Okla homa and she met and married Jerome Hobson Bass in 1941. Mr. and Mrs. Bass lived in the oldest house in Santa Fe for several years. She worked as a clerk for the Bureau of Land Manage ment for many years.
Mrs. Bass's failing health brought her to Albuquerque in 1992 to be near her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Cremation has taken place and private memorial services are pending.
