Ronald Robert Bassett 82 of West Warwick. Passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family at his home on February 11th 2023.
He was the beloved husband of the late Louise Gloria (Damon) Bassett.
Born in Providence, Ronald was the son of the late John Joseph and Rose (Paquin) Bassett.
Ronald was a stay at home dad who enjoyed doing many activities with his children. He was a devoted and loyal husband who supported his wife so she could pursue her career in public service.
Ronald enjoyed many activities including Golf and scrapping metal for exta cash. He was a loving grandfather who in his later years filled his days spending quality time with his grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his three daughter's, Milissa Sirin, Jennifer Bassett and her wife Leigh Bassett and Veronica Bassett. Ten grandchildren, Oscar, Joselin, Antonio, Ethan, Aaliyah, Raevin, Lukas, Victoria, Kayle, Nicholas and a brother John Bassett.
He was predeceased by his brother Errol Bassett and a sister Elaine Bassett.
Services will be held privately by family.
