Lottie Burge Bass
Lottie Burge Bass, age 92, of Long Beach, passed away on November 13, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Bass; her siblings, Benita Daughdrill, Lucille Hall, Hurley D. Burge, Virginia Dell Davis, Clifton Burge, and JL Burge.
She is survived, by her sons, Gene (Lynda) Bass and David (Susan) Bass; a sister, Betty Burge Lee; 8 grandchildren, Tyler Bass, Taylor Bass (Angela), Lindsey Bourne, Gloria Ricker, Alex Harbry, Annette Wells, Johnna Wells, and Josh Wells; 8 great-grandchildren, Alex Bass, Chandler Bass, Luke Bass, Rosalie Bass, Walker Young, Lucy Bourne, Wrenne Conger, and Bryn Harbry; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Bass was a longtime resident of Long Beach and she enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to music. She was member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach and she retired from the Post Office after 30 years of service. In her early years, she was a skilled athlete and played basketball for several teams.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 12 pm ? 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Long Beach. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wounded Warriors, St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, or your favorite charity.
