Lola Grace Bass Hubbard
Funeral services for Lola Grace Bass Hubbard, 88, of Knoxville, a former resident of Kellogg and Newton, were held Monday, Feb. 27, at the Free Methodist Church in Knoxville.
The Rev. Wayne Ryan and Howard Harris conducted services. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
William Funeral Home in Knoxville handled arrangements.
She died Friday at the Knoxville Area Hospital.
Survivors are a son, Max Hubbard of Reasno; a daughter, Cora Belle (Mrs. George) Evans of Mitchellville; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Lyle Bass of Granby, Mo., Richard Babss of Sarcoxie, Mo., and J. R. Bass of Carthage, Mo.; and two sisters, Myrtle Boothye of Columbia, Mo., and Faye Mahurin of Marshalltown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons and a brother.
Mrs. Hubbard, a homemaker, was a member of the Knoxville Free Methodist Church.
The daughter of Edd and Martha Elvonia Daniels Bass, she was born June 18, 1900 in Sarcoxie, Mo.
She was married to Ora Ray Hubbard Dec. 24, 1917 in Sarcoxie and the couple farmer in Colorado before living for a short time in Nebraska. They also farmed near Kellogg and Newton, moving to the Knoxville area in 1954 where they farmed until their retirement.
