  Notes	Hartford Courant, Connecticut, 14 November 2023 Steven Henry Bassett It's with deep sympathy that we announce the passing of Steven Henry Bassett, who took his last breath on November 8th, 2023. A U.S. Army veteran, Steven was born on June 6, 1958 in Manchester CT. After the Army, Steven worked as tradesman throughout the New England area. He moved to Tennessee for a short time, before settling in Bismarck North Dakota with his good friend Char. Steven enjoyed pottery and watching old TV shows in his down time. He was also very family oriented, always trying to cheer people up and make them laugh. Steven is preceded in death by his mother and father, Janice (Rossmiesl) and Louis Bassett Sr; brothers Jeffrey and Mark Bassett; sister Tammy King, and daughter Miranda Bassett. Steven leaves behind his four children; Steven Jr, Kenneth, Shentel, and Melissa; brother Louis; and sister Cindy Paluska; as well as a number of extended family members.
