John Bass Dies
John Bass, 88, of 534 ½ Northwest Fifth street, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include: daughter, Miss Ruby Pearl Bass, Evansville; four sons, John W., Cairo, Ill., Clyde M., Marion, Ky., Grady L., and Callie O., Evansville; two brothers, George, of Truman, Ark., and Sam, Detroit, Mich.; 13 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The body has been taken to Schaefer funeral home pending arrangements.

Last rites for John Bass, 88, of 534 ½ North Fifth street, who died Wednesday, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Schaefer funeral home, Rev. H.C. Kello officiating. Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery, Mr. Vernon.
