He was born Jan. 16, 1948, to Denson Gray and Mildred Bass Hauser. Denny graduated from Reynolds High School and furthered his education at Wake Forest University, where he earned degrees in both Latin and history. Upon completion of college, Denny served time in the U.S. Army Reserves while employed at Hauser Rental Service. Following the death of his father in 1978, Denny accepted responsibility of the family business. The company flourished as a result of Denny's hard work and dedication. Denny is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Dayton Hauser; his son, Denson Gray Hauser III; his mother, Mrs. D.G. Hauser; and his sister, Janice Hauser, all of Winston-Salem. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel will be handling the arrangements.
