On Saturday, September 24, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Bassett; mother of Bryan Bassett (Julie), Judith DiSilvio, Mary Welsh (John) and Stephen Bassett; loving grandmother of Briana, Jacquelyn and Gennaro DiSilvio, Brynn and Jordan Bassett, Kelly and Sarah Welsh and the late Melissa Bassett; great-grandmother of Santino DiSilvio. Sister of James Foley, and the late Tootie Williams, Dolly Karabinos, Edward, Barry and Bryan Foley; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at JOHN A. KIRCHNER IRENE M. (FLYNN)
Age 88, of Shadyside, died peacefully Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Beloved mother of Lawrence (Debra) and Paul; grandmother of Keith (Thuy), Dylan, and Meghan Bowers; and great-grandmother of Crosby; predeceased by parents, Mary and Philip Flynn; sisters, Margaret Lubert, Mary Kerbet, Anna Kirchner, and Eleanor Kelley; and brothers, John, Thomas, Philip, William, Jack, and Harry Flynn. In lieu of flowers, contributions acknowledged to the Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Ste. E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Friends received in WILLIAM F. GROSS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 11735 Frankstown at (Rodi Road) in Penn Hills. Eleanor (Flynn) Kelley, 79, of Greenfield, died Thursday, June 11, 2009. Beloved wife of Robert F. Kelley. Devoted mother of Colleen, Kerry, Kevin (Nina), Kathy and the late Michael and Timothy Kelley. Sister of Irene Kirchner and the late Ann Kirchner, Mary Kerbert, Thomas, Harry, John, William Flynn and Robert Bassett. Also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral at 9:30 a.m. Monday, followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rosalia Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Mike Kelley Scholarship Fund.
