  Notes	Athens Messenger, Ohio, 8 August 1960 William Bass Ries Set For Tuesday Funeral service for William Bass, Clifton, W.Va., will be held at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Richard L. Wirght in charge. Burial will be in Kirkland Memorial Garden on Highway 62 near Point Pleasant. Mr. Bass, a construction worker, was killed Friday night when his car collided with a coal truck on Ohio 76 in Morgan County. He is survived by his wife Kate, and his father, William Sr. His mother Cassie Tate Bass, preceded him in death. Other survivors include: Kenneth Bass, at home; Mrs. Jeanenne Johnson, Clifton; Ray Dean Heaton, Pomeroy, and three grandchildren in Ripley.
