Mary Bassett Marshall of San Antonio, TX age 97 died of natural causes on 9-25-2018 in Katy, TX. She was born May 14th, 1921 in San Antonio and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1939 where she was a Lasso Girl and an ROTC Sponsor. She was a 6th generation Texan and was a direct descendent of William Andrew Rabb who was a member of The "Old Three Hundred" who formed the Republic of Texas. They came to Texas in 1820. She was a vocalist during the Big Band era, as well as a Ticket agent for Eastern Air Lines. Later in life she was a licensed substance abuse counselor. She was a home maker and enjoyed flower gardening, needle craft, fine dining, reading, painting, cooking and adored her family. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of The Daughters of The Republic of Texas, Friends of the Library and literary counsel and The Republican Women's Club! Preceded in death by her 1st husband John W. Fielder (married 1939-1951) and her 2nd husband and love of her life Donald U. Marshall (married 1956-1980) and her 3rd husband Arthur H. Bonnet (married 1983-2007) and sadly by her beloved son John Hampton Fielder. She was survived by her Daughter in law, Trish Fielder, Grandchildren Megan Fielder and Shawn Fielder all of San Antonio and Granddaughter Paige Lohmann and husband Larry Lohmann of Fulshear, TX. Great Grandchildren Travis Cole and Carley Kormash from Katy, TX and Great Great Grandchildren, Wyatt Fielder of San Antonio, TX - Colt Cole, Emma Cole, Cooper Cole and Kennedy Kormash all of Katy, TX.
