Ricky Bass, age 61, died on April 1, 2023.
Services are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
Ricky Bass was born on May 27, 1961, in Carthage, Mo. He attended Joplin high school and worked in construction.
Ricky Bass is survived by his wife, Mary Crihfield, his sons Rick and Coty Bass, his daughters Sabrina, Tabatha, and Samantha Bass, his brother Daryl Bass, and his sister Debbie Stephens. He is preceded in death by his father Dale Bass, his mother Deloris Bass, and his brothers Dwane and Eugene Bass.

Ricky Bass
Ricky Bass, 61 years old from Carthage, Mo. died peacefully April 1, 2023, at his home in Joplin, Mo. He was born in Carthage, Mo May 27, 1961. He was the son of the Dale Bass and Deloris Bass (Finn).They pre -ceded him in death. Ricky was also preceded in death by his son Coty and two brothers Dwane bass and Eugene Bass.
After attending Joplin high school Ricky met and married the love of his life Mary Crihfield. Together they had five children, two sons: Rick Bass and, Coty Bass; three daughters: Sabrina Bass, Tabatha Bass and Samantha Bass, all of Joplin, Mo. Also surviv -ing is his brother Daryl Bass of Joplin, Mo. and sister Debbie Stephens of Baxter Springs; in addition to 2 grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Ricky enjoyed his cars, but his family always came first. He worked in construction, most recently for Doug Wilk -erson Remodeling. Services are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
