She never missed a family reunion if she could possibly attend. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Durham since 1958 and a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood for over fifty years. Cordie is survived by her son, Robert Bass and wife, Gayle Dean, of Warne, N.C.; her daughter, Carla Viana and husband, Michael, of Durham; her son, Charles Bass and wife, Agnes, of Skillman, N.J.; and her sisters, Molly (Polly) Wilson of Ohio and Eugenia (Jean) Brown of Virginia; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Tristan and wife, Katie, and Ariel Viana, of Durham, and Lauren and Ella Bass of Skillman, N.J. Cordie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Homer Bass. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Susanne Priddy officiating. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hall Wynne Funeral Service.
