Delores Bass, age 85, of Lakeland, FL passed away on July 27, 2020.
A native of Bainbridge, Georgia, she was the daughter of Harry and Lottie Farr. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lester Bass, John P. Thompson, and daughter Bette Smith.
Survivors include her children, John Thompson Jr. (Toni), Teresa Gill (Rocky Finley), son-in-law, Dana Smith, 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Delores worked for Florida Tile for 33 years, also at New Orleans Oyster Bar. She loved to play bingo and fishing.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lanier Funeral and Cremation Services, 717 Griffin Road, Lakeland, FL 33805. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM
