Maria Gordon
ELIZABETH CITH ? Maria Gordon, 77, a retired canner, died March 30, 1989, in an Albemarle hospital.
Miss Gordon, a native of South Mills, was a member of New McBride AME Zion Church, South Mills.
Survivors include two daughters, Blanche Bass of New York City and Shirley Brite of Elizabeth City; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in New McBride AME Zion Church by the Rev. Frederick Hunter. Burial will be in New Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday in Robinson & Son Funeral Home, Elizabeth City.
