He was 69.Mr. Bass was retired from Florida Power Corporation and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak.Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bass of Live Oak; a daughter, Darlene Gamble of Live Oak; two sons, Fletcher Bass of Atlantic Beach and Drew Bass of Live Oak; a sister, Betty Jones of Gainesville; three brothers, Theron Bass and Thomas "Buddy" Bass, both of Live Oak, and Andrew Bass of Douglasville, Georgia, and seven grandchildren.Expressions of sympathy may be made as donations to the American Cancer Society.
