Mrs. Brenda Carol Bass Garner, age 74 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Piedmont Henry Hospital.
Mrs. Garner was born in Griffin, Georgia May 9, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lucious Bass and Eva Elizabeth Fountain Bass, her beloved husband of 54 years, Jerry Lamar Garner, brothers, Horace Bass and wife, Carrie, Gordon Bass, Sister, Rebecca Price and husband, Wilson, his in-laws, Hollis Garner and wife Louise, Eunice, Fred, Frank and Sally. She was a member of Christian Fellowship in Zebulon.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Gregg Butler, Lisa and Shannon Walker. Her grandchildren are, Tony and Anna Goodman, Hannah and Lonnie Selph, Justin Goodman, Justine Statham, Sladen Goodman, Haley Butler, Jeremy Walker, Amanda and Jason Bonner, Levi Walker; great grandchildren, Codey, Coleman, Mason, Julia, Elizabeth, Gracie, Freya, Valkyrie, Phoenix, Fletcher, and Sutton. Her sisters and brothers in-laws, Patricia Ray, Sherry Bowman, Sara Helms, Phil Garner, Barry Garner; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Reverend Mark Statham will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Hebron Cemetery, Concord, Georgia.
