Vera Goff Braswell December 10, 1928- December 8, 2004 COLUMBUS, GA- Vera Goff Braswell, 75, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Dec. 8. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Chapel of the Pines in Parkhill Cemetery with the Rev. Don Wilhite officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road. Mrs. Braswell was born December 10, 1928 in Union, Ga., daughter of the late John W. Bassett and Annie Pate Bassett. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and had worked at Baltimore Produce for 35 years. Mrs. Braswell was preceded in death by her husbands, Louis Alvin Goff and Luther Braswell. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Ronnie Louis and Sue Goff of Columbus, Melissa and Bill Orr of Littleton, Colo.; a sister, Aubrey Baltimore of Columbus; three grandchildren, Michael Goff of Columbus, Kevin and Kelly Orr both of Littleton, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and loyal customers.

Ronnie L. Goff June 22, 1950- August 2, 2013 Columbus, GA- Ronnie L. Goff, 63, of Columbus, GA died Friday, August 2, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marvin Minton officiating. A private interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. Mr. Goff was born June 22, 1950 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Louis Alvin Goff and Vera Bassett Brasswell. He worked for 30 years at Swift Spinning Mills. He was a member of Crawford Road Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL, Gallops Senior Citizen Center and Fox Senior Citizens. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rachel "Sue" Goff of Columbus, GA; son, Michael "Mike" Goff (Brandy) of Phenix City, AL; sister, Melissa "Lisa" Orr (William "Bill" of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren, Mark McGilvery, Brian, Autumn and Dakota Goff, aunt, Aubrey Baltimore, niece, Kelly Orr of Scottsdale, Arizona and nephew Kevin Orr of Boston, MA.
