Floyd was a self employed auto technician and was an Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife Hanna Bass of Winter Haven, sons Jess A. Bass and Floyd L. Bass III of Winter Haven, daughter Sarah Bass of Winter Haven, brothers Craig R. Bass of Zephyrhills and Jeffrey C. Bass of Lakeland, sisters Cathy Tapia, Nancy Bass and Donna Amato, all of Arizona, and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Winter Haven. Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale serving the family.
