Bass, a native of Ennis, Ellis County, lived most of his life in Dallas. He retired as a meat cutter at Clucks Grocery here, and he formerlyl owned his own meat market. He was a member of Scofield Memorial Church. Survivors: Wife; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Denning of Dallas; a brother, James C. Bass of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Oheim of Henrietta, Clay County, and Mrs. Blanche McElree of Bellevue, Clay County, and two grandsons.
