Ronald JT Bass

Ronald J.T. Bass, age 62, of Okeechobee passed away June 27, 2010 at his home. He was born August 5, 1947 in Miami to John Thomas and Veronica Bass. He was raised in Okeechobee and proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Okeechobee and he was an owner/operator in the trucking business.
Mr. Bass is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. Hale (Timothy); son, Jason C. Bass all of Okeechobee; niece, Prissy Wilkinson of Indiantown; two grandsons, Ryan and Sean Hale; two grandnephews, Cody and River Maupin all of Okeechobee; brother, Oscar Bass of Miami; three sisters, Judy West of Lake Placid, Annie Seagro of Lakeport and Elva Canterbury of North Florida; two aunts, Patty Hazellief and Alavene Lantz both of Okeechobee; two cousins, David and Pearl Hazellief; numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. until service time at 5 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Buxton Funeral Home Chapel.
