Branch St., who died May 29, 1992, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery. A native of Guilford County, he was a World War II Navy veteran, former owner of Bass Transit and a partner in the Bass and Kimber Texaco Station. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Annie H. Bass; sons, William H. Bass, Sterling C. Bass, both of Reidsville, Anthony "Tony" Bass of Stone Mountain, Ga.; daughters, Mrs. Gloria B. Walker of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Addie M. Spence of Maywood, Ill., Mrs. V. Dale Wilson of Reidsville, Mrs. Glenda R. Kilgore of Charlotte; foster daughter, Ms. Mamie N. Dawkins of Oxon Hills, Md.; sisters, Mrs. Margaret B. Watts of Reidsville, Mrs. Ella B. Brown of Baltimore; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one foster grandchild. The family will be at McLaurin Funeral Home 7-7:30 tonight.
