George W. Bass Dies; Funeral Services Friday
George W. Bass, 84, 1620 Broad street, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside hospital following an illness of four months. He was a member of the Aldersgate Methodist church and the Odd Fellows lodge.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Roth funeral chapel with the Rev. M.L. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gus Yopp, Eddie Ross, Eldridge Vick, W.R. Gunter, Dick Medley and Henry P. Randle.
Friends may call at the Roth chapel.

Funeral services for George W. Bass, 84, 1620 Broad street, who died Wednesday at Riverside hospital were held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Roth Funeral chapel with the Rev. M.L. Davis officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery.
