Billy Bass, 89, passed away on December 18, 2022, in Florissant, MO.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Kay Bass, and his two sons Kenneth (Janice) Bass and Steven (Carol) Bass. Billy is also survived by his grandchildren, Steven Bass Jr., Rebecca Bass, Caroline Bass, Frank (Amie) DiLorenzo, Jeanette DiLorenzo, Joe DiLorenzo, and two great-grandchildren Frankie DiLorenzo and Maddie Ann DiLorenzo. Billy is a cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Elsie Bass, along with his siblings, Leroy Bass, Albert Bass, James Bass Jr., Bertha Bass, Mildred Bass, and Ralph Bass. Billy is also preceded by his life-long friend Wilber "Tripp" Triplett.
Billy was a member of Florissant Presbyterian Church since 1999 and a member of the Overland-Occidental Lodge Number 623 since 1975. Billy served with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force for four years. Billy worked for McDonnell Aircraft in 1957 and retired from McDonnell-Douglas in 1990.
Visitation will be held on December, 29th, 2022 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Hutchens Mortuary and Cremation Center, located at 675 Graham Road, Florissant MO 63031. Services will also be held on December 29th, 2022 beginning a 12:00 pm at Hutchens Mortuary and Cremation Center, located at 675 Graham Road, Florissant MO 63031. Burial will take place immediately after services at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, located at 2900 Sheridan Road, Saint Louis MO 63125.
