The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church, Warrenton, with the Rev. Omer Reid officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Bass was employed by Georgia Power Co. Survivors include his wife, Martha Louise Bass; a daughter, Malethia L. Bass, Augusta; four sisters, Pauline Bass, Willie Mae Martin, Vivian Thompson and Gwendolyn Bass, all of Augusta; and four brothers, Crawford Bass and Anthony Bass, both of Augusta, Alvin Bass, Albuquerque, N.M., and Jerry Bass, Key West, Fla. Robert's Funeral Home, Thomson, is in charge of arrangements.
