Graden Peninsula Obituary
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Walter (Rose Marie) Bassett at Skaggs Hospital in Branson, Mo. on Feb. 17. She was born July 27, 1887 in Muskegon and her husband died in 1966.
Survivors include one son, Msgr. R. Bassett; one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Alberta) Ladd of Branson, Mo.; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Bassett was well known in the Garden area, living here for 16 years when Msgr. Bassett served at the Marygrove Retreat House. He is presently at the Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House, 5353 E. 56th St., Indianapolis, Ind.
