Glenn Ebbens Bass
Mr. Glenn Ebbens Bass, 69, of 700 McKinnon Street, Clinton, died Monday at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC.
Mr. Bass, a native of Sampson County, was the son of the late Theo Bass and Flossie Thornton Bass. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and had retired ffrom the grocery bussiness.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gracie Elizabeth Daw Bass of the home, two daughters, Gail Davis and husband John of Wilmingotn, and Glenda Blackburn and husband James of Clinton, a son, Jeffery Bass and wife Shelia of Clinton, a broither, Norwood Bass of Clinton, and eight grandchildren.
The family recieved friends Wednesday evening from 7-9pm, October 1, 2008 at the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1818 N. McCullen Road, Faison, NC. 28341.
The funeral services were held at 11am, Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Faison, NC. with the Rev. Richard Weeks, the Rev. Lynn Blackburn and the Rev. Ray Carter officiating.
Burial was made in the Church Cemetery, Faison, NC.
