  Notes	The St. Augustine Record, Florida, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 Janie Tarte Bass Janie Tarte Bass passed away peacefully Sunday, May 23, 2010, in Jacksonville after celebrating her 90th birthday. She was the loving wife of James V. Bass, who preceded her in death by a year, and devoted mother to three children who succeed her: James M. Bass of Monterey, Calif.; Patricia Bass Lincoln of Columbia, S.C.; and Roger D. Bass of Jacksonville, Fla.; she left five beautiful grandchildren and five precious great-grandchildren to be with the Lord. A blessing to all who knew her during her long and fruitful life, her passions were her family and the church. She taught and mentored countless numbers at the local Baptist churches, and she served everywhere she lived. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Brown Funeral Home in Andalusia, Ala. Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park is in charge of local arrangements.
