Bill Bass
Madison: Mr. Bill Bass died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his home. Mr. Bill Bass was born in Madison County on May 26th, 1942 and was the son of the late Sidney B. Bass and Trudie Tuten Bass. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County where he logged and raised cattle. He is survived by his wife Pat Bass and 3 children, Ricky (Cathy) Bass, Teri (Bobby) Barrs and Dani (Dannitte) Mays all of Madison and one God daughter, Tiffany (Rob) Tripson of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Trey Barrs, Jozee Bass, Bridget Cherry, Mandi Barrs (Bryant) Brantley, Baylee Bass, Zach Cherry, Sunni Mays, Katie Mays, Will Tripson and Isabella Tripson; 3 great-grandchildren, Allie Brantley, Conner McGuire and Karsen Bass; 1 brother, Dickey Bass; 2 sisters, Judy (Audrey) Blanton of Madison, Helen Farnell of Perry and a sister-in-law Margie Bass of Lake City along with many other nieces, nephews, and other family. He was preceded in death by one brother, Raydell Bass, one sister-in-law, Carolyn Bass, one brother-in-law, Harold Farnell and one granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Bass. He enjoyed spending time with family and raising cattle. A family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to San Pedro Cemetery Cleaning Fund (14987 SW CR 14, Greenville, FL 32331) or the American Heart Association. Beggs Funeral Home Madison Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
